Bill Gates – who is he?
Bill Gates is one of the world’s richest people. From 1995 to 2017, he held the Forbes title of the richest person in the world for all but 4 of those years. Founder of Microsoft software with a friend of his Paul Allen back in 1975.
What does Bill Gates’s routine look like?
Morning
Unlike Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk, he starts off his day with a morning cardio session which is about an hour long. He does this because he believes that morning exercise can improve cognition and focus throughout the day.
Bill Gates likes to split his day up into 5-minute increments he solely believes that spending too much time on one thing can cause distractions and decision fatigue.
Afternoon
He likes to read a lot every day, reading up to 50 books every year which is around 1 book a week. He also mentions a book can also help him see something familiar from a different angle, expanding his worldview. He also likes to spend time with his children.
Evening
Bill Gates spends his time on mundane chores such as washing the dishes. Why? Because, everyday tasks can be opportunities to practice mindfulness – thereby promoting calm and creativity – if done in the right way. He also likes to spend time relaxing and meeting business associates and also likes to watch some movies.
Night
