Who is Floyd Mayweather

Floyd Mayweather, Jr has left an indelible mark on boxing, whether you love him or hate him. Outside the ring, his personality may be polarizing, but inside the ring, his talent was undeniable.

Despite his reputation as an obstreperous, overly confident, and even foolhardy fighter, when he was inside the ring, his speed, agility, strength, and tenacity were undeniable.

Mayweather’s defensive genius and innovative fighting style, for the vast majority of his opponents, were virtually impossible to dissect.

He was also highly cautious and even conservative on the offensive.

Here’s what his daily routine looked like.

Afternoons with Floyd Mayweather

Unlike everyone else on our list, Floyd doesn’t start his day until around 1:30 pm. He also doesn’t have a routine and always does something different on his days he has even trained while wearing Timberlands. Mayweather has also said that he does what he wants when he wants thus the Timberland story making sense.

He usually starts his workouts with a quick run and some jump rope before he prepares for technical training.

He mostly chose bodyweight workouts such as pull-ups, sit-ups, and dips.

Mayweather’s recovery at the time was unusual because he frequently used Cryosauna and SubZero Las Vegas clinics were very frequent back in the day.

Evening

During his training and working out phase, Mayweather would often kick back, relax, and enjoy some downtime; watching movies in bed, hanging out with friends, and eating was all part of his evening routine.

Unlike other boxers, Floyd was extremely different in regards to his diet. He would typically eat whatever he liked whenever he liked, rather than stopping at the weight limit.

While pre-fight advertisements might have shown the boxer eating a bunch of junk food, he actually cared a lot about his meals. He had his meals prepared by a chef who was onsite.

Night

Before a fight, he would undergo some pre-fight training to become in shape, and then go into the ring to fight his opponents.

After the fights, he would either go out partying or stay in his house with his friends and enjoy the night.

Dawn

Because of the main events and his partying life he would normally go to bed when we would all be waking up so, that would be around 5:00 a.m.
