Who is Dwayne Johnson?
Dwayne Johnson, also known as “The Rock”, is known to be the most famous celebrity in Hollywood as of 2022.
He has a physique like three average men, but it’s not just his physique that makes him one of the industry’s A-list celebrities. His work ethic is also one of the industry’s A-list qualities.
He’s fine with being a limited sleeper, as one of the few people who can fully function on less sleep. His gym regime is responsible for his hard body, and thanks to a highly regimented diet and workforce he never misses a meal or workout.
Despite his extensive gym regime, he states his time in the gym is like his meditation, where he is in full control of the outcome.
Here’s what an ordinary day in the life of The Rock looks like.
Mornings with Dwayne Johnson
Dwayne Johnson gets up at 3:30 a.m. every day to function and feel energized.
He may exercise or work in the movie industry all day, but he needs at least five to seven hours of sleep to function properly and feel restored.
The Rock starts his day with a light cardio workout, often a run. After sipping on his morning coffee, he’ll get his cardio in on the elliptical machine at home while catching up on the news and eating his breakfast cereal.
He prefers light-intensity cardio over high-intensity training in the morning, and a morning cardio session anchors him for the rest of the day.
If he knows he will be busy all day, he may instead lift weights in the morning.
After working out, it’s time for the first meal of the day out of five to seven meals totaling 3,000 calories.
He prepares his meals the day before to ensure he has the right amount of nutrition on hand to fuel his training and work.
Portions are all measured to hit his goals. Breakfast will typically be a steak or oatmeal, depending on what his training goals are that day.
In most cases, The Rock relies on natural protein sources, on occasions he will use a protein shake to enhance his workout recovery.
Johnson’s life is very busy. Dwayne has family and work commitments, but he also has to deal with several other events and organizations that demand his time.
The Rock is also involved with numerous other enterprises and organizations that make his time constrained.
He tends to work out every afternoon, he says he likes to get a good 2 to 3 hours workout session between his work commitments.
If he’s working somewhere that isn’t home he likes to take his portable gym with him. He calls it the “Iron Paradise”.
If you follow The Rock on his Instagram you are sure to see his cheat meals which he loves to share. These cheat meals tend to have 5,000 up to 6,000 calories.
These cheat meals contain everything you could think of, cookies, ice cream, burgers, and fries, but not your ordinary size these are king-size portions.
After an evening workout, he gets some work done mainly entertainment responsibilities. He’ll stay up to around 10 answering emails.
The Rock normally goes to bed at around 10 to the latest midnight.
